The Gift
God Calling
God places inside everyone
a gift
a talent
a calling.
Your's my child was placed
inside your
heart when you
were formed
by God.
You did not know why
you reached up
in your dramatic
style when you were
young.
God knew.
He has a plan
for your life.
Your calling.
He knew when the time
was right he would speak.
He called your gift
to life and placed it in
your dreams.
You
heard him and sought
out the meaning
of this dream
and you obeyed him.
You went forward that day
to the altar of God,
at the perfect time in your
life, to reach up again
and know that it
was
God Calling.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart." ~ Jeremiah 1: 5

Such a beautiful understanding of that scripture. Doesn't it give us comfort and even excitement when we realize that God wants us to know we are loved. And, like the Parent that He is, delights in watching us as we reach our arms up to Him.
